ලෝක කුසලාන වේගවත්ම ශතකය මහේලගෙන්

කැනඩාව සමග අද(20) පැවති ලෝක කුසලාන ක්‍රිකට් තරගයේදී පන්දු 80 ක් තුළ ලකුණු 100 ක් රැස්කරමින් ලෝක කුසලාන තරගයක් තුළ මෙරට ක්‍රීඩකයෙකු රැස්කළ වේගවත්ම ශතකය ලබාගැනීමට මහේල ජයවර්ධන සමත්විය.

‍ මීට පෙර එම වාර්තාවට හිමිකම් කියනු ලැබුවේ පන්දු 85 ක් තුළ ශතකයක් රැස්කරන ලද සනත් ජයසූරියයි.

මෙම ශතකය දැනට 2011 ලෝක කුසලාන ක්‍රිකට් තරගාවලියේ වේගවත්ම ශතකය ද වේ

තවද  කැනඩාව හා ශ්‍රී ලංකාව අතර මේ වනවිටත් පැවැත්වෙන පළමු තරගයේදී ටී.එම් ඩිල්ෂාන් එක්දින තරගවල ලකුණු 5000 සීමාව පසු කළ 8 වෙනි ශ්‍රී ලාංකික ක්‍රීඩකයා බවට පත්විය. සූරියවැව මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රීඩාංගණයේ දී ඔහු මෙම ඉලක්කය පසු කළේය.  2011 ලෝක කුසලාන තරගාවලියේ ශ්‍රී ලංකාව සහභාගී වන පළමු තරගය වන කැනඩාව හා ශ්‍රී ලංකාව අතර  තරගයේදී ටී.එම් ඩිල්ෂාන් එක්දින තරගවල ලකුණු 5000 සීමාව පසු කළ 8 වෙනි ශ්‍රී ලාංකික ක්‍රීඩකයා බවට පත්විය. සූරියවැව මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රීඩාංගණයේ දී මීට ස්වල්ප මොහොතකට පෙර ඔහු මෙම ඉලක්කය පසු කළේය.

ශ්‍රී ලංකා කණ්ඩායම පන්දු වාර 50 අවසානයේදී කඩුලු 07 ක් දැවී ලකුණු 332 ක් රැස්කරගනු ලැබීය.

Back of a length outside off, and Tharanga guides it wide of mid off and sets off for a single. He is three-fourths of the way down the track when he notices that Dilshan is actually turning the other way. Tharanga almost completed one and a half runs, but fell short by a foot though he dived in. 63/1

	45.1 Khurram Chohan to Mathews, Thisara may be run out here. Full ball on off stump, Mathews digs it out straight to point and takes off. The throw was perfect, beside the stumps and left Bagai with little to do. Thisara was close to a foot out of his ground when the stumps were broken. Crucial wicket, I'd say. 284/5
